Day 3 at EAC

This was the most useful day for me so far. The day started off with lean grounding and games an exercises around lean. Great game to talk about waste with managers.

After lunch we talked about Agile structure model, with ingredients borrowed from LeSS. From there we looked at how culture and structure is linked, and that culture only can be changed by structure (at scale).

Systems Thinking can be useful, but we can’t just change the system from outside, far too complex. Instead we have to get in to the system and ask the people there to make small experiments and notice what happens. The string game was very insightful.

At the end of the day we talked about “The principles of product development flow” and “The lean startup.

Seven people joined Fredrik and me for the beer session. Interesting talks that transitioned into dinner. You can really learn a lot from the other attendees.
